A friend of mine who drank pbr, and I drank more than a few with him. Passed away last summer, ever since now and then I pick up a 18 or 24 pk. I've noticed that the bottle caps have a number/and card placement. what's up with that. I want to play, yet need to know how. Can anyone help?

| I never knew about the caps until I started buying bar bottles for my self. (I usually had PBR on tap). I have a bottle cap collection (my tribute to Bert from Sesame Street ) and I waited until I found the ace of spades to save a PBR cap. Took way more then 52 bottles, I'll tell you what.

The local bar in my area will pull the top and let you guess the card... if you get it right, your next round is on them.

I collected a full deck and gave them to some friends when they got married, in a cool old cigar box. They play a sort of rummy with them. I've probably got a couple more full decks, but I haven't gone through the cap barrel in a long time.
They speak of my drinking but never think of my thirst.

it took me a while to do it but i finally got the full deck myself..... i've got about 150-175 caps left over... i'm gonna make a bar top with the full deck facing up and the remaining caps down with the label showing...

Well, the bottles come in six-packs, so if each person has their own six-pack, and everyone drinks all their bottles, then you pick your 5 best cards, throw one out, and who ever has the best hand wins. LOL!!!!
