When I first started drinking beer, back in the 70's in Iowa, PBR was available everywhere beer was sold, and was on tap in every bar I remember being in. Nowadays, a lot of bars only have a selection of light beers on tap. Hopefully, better days are coming.

I'm here in mid-east TENNESSEE and my son and I were driving around the other day(as only we can do here in TN.), and while not condoning littering, we counted no less than 41 PBR empty half cases thrown on the side of the road! That being said, my friends and I throw that many away in no time. TN DRINKS PBR!!

I can't believe that richmond isnt on this list...PBR around these parts stands for the Peoples Beer of Richmond. If a bar I go to doesn't carry Pbr on tap-in a can- bottle or Man Can you can bet I wouldnt be there...but I don't know a bar in this place that doesnt carry the stuff....I recently found out about a few local little stores carrying the PBR 40oz!!!!

If their aint PBR in heaven, I ain't goin'.

Pabst and Stroh's used to be really popular in Southern Indiana back in the 1970's. But then, Pabst went to a premium beer and raised their price. So everybody switched to Wiedemann, then Miller Lite, now Busch Light, whatever is cheap. These old Germans around here like their beer but they also like to be tight with their money. So thats what kind of county I live in.

But don't worry, I've been leading "The Pabst Blue Ribbon Charge"of St. Anthony, IND since 2003. (thats what year I turned 21) I've got several people converted to Pabst and the local tavern has been keeping for awhile. There are many Pabst drinkers around here, but the ones that drink are gung-ho about it.

I think I'm the number Pabst drinker in the area as far as consumption goes.
